Carrion, the gory reverse-horror game where you play as the monster, will now launch on Nintendo Switch alongside its previously-announced Xbox One and PC versions.
Publisher Devolver Digital says that the game is still launching during Summer 2020, and to expect a firm date soon. Devolver Digital is hosting its own online event in lieu of E3 being cancelled, which is set to take place in mid-July. Carrion will be present at the show, with the publisher promising “something really gross”.
In Carrion you control the slimy tentacles of a horrible lab experiment gone wrong, crawling through vents and tearing through scientists in your way in brutal fashion. It’s not all about bloodlust though, as dangerous security measures and well-equipped soldiers are there to quickly reduce you to nothing. But the more you kill, the more powerful you become, letting you enjoy the other side of a horror thriller for a change.
You can try Carrion for free on Steam, with a limited demo available for download ahead of the game’s launch. Steam is currently hosting the Summer Steam Game Festival, giving you sneak peeks at thousands of upcoming titles with playable demos for a limited time.
