Guerrilla Games announced Friday that Horizon Zero Dawn will be available for the PC on Aug. 7. Titled Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, it will be available on both Valve’s Steam storefront and the Epic Games Store for $49.99.
Horizon launched as a PlayStation 4 exclusive in 2017, quickly racking up numerous nods as one of the best games of the year. Polygon included it in the top 10. It tells a unique post-apocalyptic story starring a young woman named Aloy, who must journey across a forbidding landscape and do battle with wild mechanical creatures. The game was a commercial success as well, a rare example of a successful new intellectual property created by a modern AAA development studio.
