Mass Effect Trilogy Is Getting A New Art Book–And It's On Sale

Seemingly for no reason at all, BioWare and Dark Horse are releasing an expanded edition of The Art of the Mass Effect Trilogy. The book releases February 23, 2021 for and is available to pre-order now at Amazon for $29.47, which is more than $10 off its list price.

According to the listing, the book will have a bunch of new concept art, particularly for each game’s DLC. It will also feature new commentary from developers. All told, The Art of the Mass Effect Trilogy: Expanded Edition appears to have roughly 90 pages of new content, some of which has never been seen before.

The original book it expands upon was actually titled The Art of the Mass Effect Universe and released back in 2012, though finding a physical edition is costly nowadays. So for big Mass Effect fans who missed out the first time around, now’s your chance to lock in your pre-order ahead of its release.

As always, you’ll get the lowest price offered between now and release thanks to Amazon’s pre-order price guarantee. Since it’s already on sale for $10 off, it’s probably good idea to snag it before it goes back up to full price.

While any new Mass Effect content is exciting, fans have been clamoring for a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster for a while now. EA has never commented on a potential remaster, but the studio has expressed interest in remastering fan-favorite games. Mass Effect is probably at the top of the list for many fans, and it’s certainly interesting that an expanded version of the trilogy’s art book is on the horizon. For now, at least fans will get to gaze at some new Mass Effect Trilogy art.
