It’s Time to Work in Vacation Simulator: Back to Job

When it comes to colourful virtual reality (VR) gameplay experiences Owlchemy Labs has got you covered, especially when it comes to the studios’ most recent title Vacation Simulator. Today, the team has released a free DLC add-on called Back to Job, putting you to work at a nice robot getaway.

Rather than these friendly bots learning about how humans used to holiday by providing you with lots of fun activities to pass the time, in Vacation Simulator: Back to Job it’s their turn to chill by the pool whilst you serve their every whim.

As you’d expect, Owlchemy Labs has equipped your poolside service counter with all sorts of handy items to maintain a full 5-star rated service. You’ll be asked to look after robot babies, order useful items online, create towering icecreams and grill up a mean burger for guests. All within easy reach with two locations to teleport between, you can be as busy or as quiet as you like, orders only start once you pull a ticket.

You’ll be able to see all of this and more with VRFocus‘ gameplay video from the Oculus Quest version of the videogame. “We’re super excited for players to jump into this new expansion and experience new Bots and endless ways to play, said Andrew Eiche, CTOwl and Cable Slinger at Owlchemy Labs in a statement.

In VRFocus‘ review of the original PC version of Vacation Simulator, we found that: “What’s particularly pleasing is the fact that everything just seems to work. Owlchemy Labs needs to be commended on its production values for Vacation Simulator, offering a smooth, faultless experience from start to finish.”

Vacation Simulator: Back to Job is available now for free, supporting Oculus Quest and Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality headsets. The DLC will arrive in October for the PlayStation VR version. Vacation Simulator is currently discounted by 25% on Steam, while on the Oculus Store there’s a duo pack available.
