Apex Legends fans finally got some answers to their questions with the conclusion of Season 5’s questline yesterday. After a season of putting together artifacts scattered around the map, players finally saw what they were piecing together. “The Broken Ghost” storyline resulted in the construction of Titanfall 2 villain, Ash. In Apex Legends, Ash has come back to life after dying in Titanfall 2‘s story mode. However, this wasn’t the main talking point from the conclusion of the quests. Respawn Entertainment teased yesterday that Season 6 of its battle royale could move to a new map: Olympus.
Olympus the new home of Apex Legends?
The tease came in the final minutes of “The Broken Ghost” quest, as Lifeline mentioned a world named “Psamathe.” The drumstick-wielding legend also mentioned the characters should “go to Olympus,” which is a city on the planet Psamathe.
In Apex Legends lore, we’ve actually heard of Psamathe before. It’s home to both Lifeline and Octane, so it makes sense that Lifeline would mention returning to her world. However, that’s not the only time we’ve heard of Olympus. In the Season 5 cinematic trailer, Loba tried to rid of Revenant, which resulted in the robot’s soul transporting to Psamathe.
Since people *keep asking me*.
Olympus is a city on Psamathe.
Loba’s parents were killed by Revenant in Olympus.
Revenant’s head got teleported to Psamathe.
Epilogue had Ash saying “Welcome to Olympus”.
Do you need any more evidence that we’re getting a new map in S6?

Of course, all these instances could just be easter eggs from Respawn. Though that wouldn’t explain every other mention of Olympus and Psamathe as known data-miner Shrugtal lays out in a tweet.
What is Olympus?
This all points to Respawn gearing up to make Olympus the next Apex Legends map. Unlike other seasons though, we happen to know a little bit about the location beforehand. Olympus is a staggering metropolis that is filled with towering skyscrapers and buzzing urban life. You can see a screenshot of Olympus’ skyline below.
The city itself is floating among the clouds, which only adds to the shocking height of everything around it.
While nothing is confirmed yet, it seems likely that a new map will arrive for Apex Legends Season 6. This would also keep up with Respawn’s trend of adding a new map every three seasons, as World’s Edge came in Season 3.
