Colorado-based footwear brand Crocs has signed on to be the official footwear provider of the NYSL $100K USD WarzoneMania event, set to kick-off Dec. 19.
The event is being hosted by Andbox-owned Call of Duty League franchise New York Subliners. The NYSL $100K WarzoneMania is a weekend-long Call of Duty Warzone competition featuring pro Call of Duty players and streamers.
In addition to being the official footwear provider, Crocs helped NYSL create custom-designed GIFS that fans will be able to use across social media platforms as they watch the two-day event. The GIFS are inspired by Crocs’ Jibbitz, which allow consumers to attach a variety of trinkets to the classic version of their foam clog. Crocs will also give away $25K in Twitch subscriptions to fans who watch the two-day event.
This is not the first time the footwear brand has partnered with an esports organization; in October, Crocs partnered with CDL franchise Minnesota RøKKR to produce an all-women Warzone event.
