The Global Esports Federation (GEF) has named technology and research company Sports Innovation Lab as a global supporter.
As a result of the partnership, Sports Innovation Lab will look to use its knowledge and expertise to develop GEF’s events portfolio.

Sports Innovation Lab has collaborated with the likes of the NFL, NBA, and Intel to provide innovative fan experiences by providing brands with a range of data and insights to assist in their decision making.
Chris Chan, President of the Global Esports Federation, spoke on the partnership in a release: “We are proud to welcome Sports Innovation Lab as our global supporter in an effort to deepen our involvement with the stakeholders in esports, including fans worldwide on one global, inclusive platform.”

The news follows on from GEF’s announcement last week that Japanese game developers Capcom, Konami, and Sega have joined the federation. The three developers are the first to become members of the federation since its inception in 2019.
Regarding Sports Innovation Lab’s partnership with the GEF, Angela Ruggiero, the firm’s Co-Founder and CEO also commented: “Sports Innovation Lab is honoured to be named as a Global Supporter of the Global Esports Federation. We look forward to applying to the esports space and this partnership with the GEF the expertise and insights we’ve gained from our experiences in working with world-class organizations like the NFL and others.
