How to acquire the Armadillo crafting blueprint in Cyberpunk 2077

There is a crazy amount of customizable options for your character in Cyberpunk 2077. While the facial customization options aren’t as expansive as promised, the amount of technology you can upgrade yourself with is truly astounding. From Cyberware implants to crafting any kind of item under the sun, there’s no limit to what you can customize in Night City. However, as with any RPG, there are going to be certain items that are simply better than others. When players find out about these particular items, they immediately want to know where or how to find them. In Cyberpunk 2077, the most popular crafting blueprint is the Armadillo mod, which isn’t easy to locate. Luckily, we know exactly where you can find it.

Where is the Armadillo blueprint in Cyberpunk 2077?

Something to note is that this blueprint will only give you the ability to craft the Armadillo mod. As such, you want to make sure you dump some Attribute and Perk points in the Technical Ability. Acquiring the perks to craft higher-tier items will ensure that your Armadillo mod is as strong as it can be.

If you’re not aware of what the Armadillo mod is, it’s essentially an item that increases your clothing’s armor. The increase is all dependent on the rarity of the mod, which is why you should invest Perk points into the Technical Ability.

In regards to the location of the crafting spec, you’ll want to head to Northside East. To the left of the huge highway junction of this area is a fast travel station you want to find. Once there, there will be an ‘Assault in Progress’ icon directly north of the fast travel station. Head here, defeat all of the enemies, and find a white box on top of a crate.

The white box is on the left side of the small enclosed area. The item you’re looking for is of white rarity and simply called “Crafting Spec: Armadillo.” Loot the item, and you can officially craft the blueprint.

However, if you want to craft a high-level Armadillo mod, you’ll need the specific Perks in the Technical Ability. These include “True Craftsman,” “Grease Monkey,” and “Edgerunner Artisan.” Each of these will allow you to craft items of higher rarity. However, most players won’t have unlocked Edgerunner Artisan, so most will have to stop with Grease Monkey.

To craft a high-level mod, you have to keep crafting Armadillo mods. Eventually, you will receive one of either rare or epic rarity. Then, simply equip it to a clothing mod slot and your armor will increase.
