Spanish esports organisation Vodafone Giants has entered into a partnership with Nestlé brand KitKat.
As part of the deal, KitKat becomes the new main sponsor of the organisation. Moreover, the brand will feature across Vodafone Giants’ social media channels alongside its logo appearing on the organisation’s jerseys.

KitKat is the second naming sponsor for Vodafone Giants, joining American clothing giant Nike. The organisation has also secured partnerships with Diesel Only The Brave, Maggi, lollipop brand Chupa Chups, and energy drink manufacturer Red Bull.
José Ramón Díaz, CEO of Vodafone Giants, spoke on the deal in a release: “It (KitKat) has already been present in esports through different events in the past, but now it is coming with everything. From now on, KitKat is a company that is 100 percent linked to esports; a partnership that was destined to happen due to the great synergy that exists between its product and our fans”.

Carla Sivatte, Business Executive Manager at Nestlé, also commented: “From KitKat we seek to be closer to our public, to join the trends that move them in terms of entertainment and the way they consume content. Having seen the great boom in this industry, our objective is to capitalise on the territory of video games in a relevant way by working on differentiation and contributing value to the industry through actions that favour the growth of gaming and above all esports.”
Esports Insider says: Having entered the esports industry in 2020 with several notable partnerships, Nestlé shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to its KitKat deals.
