PS5 fans could soon get another chance to purchase the hugely in-demand next-generation console with Argos rumoured to be laying the groundwork for their next big PlayStation 5 restock. According to reliable PS5 stock tracker account @PS5StockAlertUK the high street retailer is in the process of distributing PS5 Disc edition consoles to its stores up and down the country. This is all in preparation of Argos’s next big PS5 restock.
As of yet there’s no word on when this PS5 restock will go live, and neither is there any info on the levels of Digital stock that will be available.
But the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter said it should soon become apparent when Argos will be dropping their next PS5 restock.
The PlayStation 5 stock tracker account said: “First news for the week ahead. Argos have distributed its PS5 Disc Editions to most of its stores in the UK. There is no information about PS5 Digital Editions yet. There is currently no date for when they plan to release, but we should know soon.”
Replying to this tweet some PS5 stock hunters have said they’re seeing some activity in the Argos app which could hint that a PlayStation 5 restock is imminent.

One Twitter user posted: “The delivery button shows green too so good sign it’s gonna drop”.
To which the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter replied: “Correct. If your ‘Home Delivery’ option is green, this indicated your local store has stock.”
Argos aren’t the only UK retailer rumoured to be releasing a PS5 restock soon.
Both Amazon and GAME are also expected to have the PS5 up for sale and available to buy once again soon.
And it looks like GAME could be first up, with the retailer rumoured to have 12,000 PS5 consoles available to buy soon.
Not only that, but GAME could end up being the best place to buy the PS5 in the UK going forward.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter also posted: “GAME is now being allocated more stock by Sony than they expected. Sony will ship most PS5 consoles to GAME compared to other retailers in the UK. The company now ships out 3-4K consoles per day to customers after a stock drop takes place, increasing delivery speeds drastically.
“GAME currently has received PS5 shipments, and are looking to release 12K stock sometime this week as usual. It is currently too early to speculate the exact day we think they’ll go live, but we should know at least a day or two before.”
Elsewhere, the @PS5Instant Twitter has claimed that Amazon could be releasing PS5 stock soon, with this expected to happen at the start of next month.
The @PS5Instant stock tracker account recently tweeted: “Expect next Amazon drop to be 1st week April.”
PS5 fans should also check their inbox as Currys has started emailing people who signed up for a PS5 VIP Pass to let them know if they’ve been successful or not.
