PC game store Fanatical has brought back its Insanity Sale this week with steep discounts on Steam games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Blasphemous, Metro Exodus, and Payday 2. The timing is certainly conspicuous, as the sale will overlap with Amazon Prime Day 2020 (which launches tomorrow, October 13).
The Insanity sale lasts for 48 hours, with discounts only lasting 24 hours from the time they start. For example, Darksiders III is currently $13.79 (77% off) on Fanatical until October 13 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. After that, it goes back to its original $60 retail price. Similarly, Rain World is only $2 (90% off) until October 13 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, at which point it returns to its retail price of $20. Fanatical’s Insanity Sale includes discounts on all manners of AAA and indie titles, so there are plenty of great deals to take advantage of, with more deals going live on a regular basis.
