Sometimes, life is disappointing, and PC fans of the Soulsborne series have been handed a new disappointment: Bloodborne, the Victorian-themed cousin to the iconic Dark Souls series, is not coming to PC after all.
Shortly after PS4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn was confirmed to be coming to PC, rumors started spreading that other PS4 exclusives would be released to the platform as well. These rumors were helped along by listings on Amazon France that seemed to show that Bloodborne and Days Gone were gearing up for PC releases as well.
Sadly, it seems like these listings were nothing more than an error. The popular PS4 exclusives are going to remain exclusive to the PS4 for the time being.
“The listings are not accurate,” Sony told IGN today. “We have made no announcements to bring these games to PC.”
This does not, however, mean that every PS4 exclusive is going to remain stuck on that platform forever. Sony also told IGN that its choices to release games on PC will be made on a “case-by-case” basis, implying that there’s at least the possibility of Sony releasing more PC in the future.
