Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War pre-order bonuses include early beta access

Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War’s pre-order bonuses have been discovered, and they include early beta access and Warzone content.

The Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War leaks don’t stop coming. Even with a proper reveal trailer due to take place this week, details regarding the game’s pre-order bonuses already seem to have been uncovered.

This information comes from Call Of Duty Tracker, which claims that pre-orders will go live following the announcement trailer (not surprising as the game is meant to release later this year).

As for what fans will get for pre-ordering, it’s all the usual bonuses you’d expect. Firstly, players will receive early access to an open beta, which we can safely assume will be a multiplayer-centric one.

Secondly, pre-ordering select versions of the game will grant players exclusive cosmetic items for Cold War, as well as content for Modern Warfare and Warzone.

The most interesting detail is that Frank Woods, a recurring character throughout the Black Ops series, will be included as an operator for both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

There is also mention of a Season 1 Battle Pass, confirming that Cold War will follow the same model as the other Call Of Duty games.

While we always knew that a new Call Of Duty title would run alongside Modern Warfare and Warzone, Activision is still going to have its hands full regularly supporting three separate games.

Thankfully for Infinity Ward, it won’t have to worry about development duties for this game. Treyarch, the studio responsible for all the previous Black Ops titles, has returned to work on the newest one, alongside Raven Software.

Call Of Duty Cold War: Black Ops is expected to release later this year.
