Cyberpunk 2077 has prompted plans for plenty of merchandise, with deodorizing gift sets and other hardware among themed items all ready for the launch of possibly the most hyped (and delayed) game of 2020.
The title is set for release next month and it really looks like that will be the case this time around as the developers are reported to have chosen a crunch over what would have been another delay. Amid the countdown, Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has revealed the game will have its very own smartphone.
OnePlus hosted an event to unveil its new OnePlus 8T device this Thursday and also revealed a collaboration with CD Projekt Red. The studio’s lead PR manager Radek Grabowski has since presented more insight.
“Cyberpunk 2077 x OnePlus collaboration was revealed earlier today during the OnePlus 8T event,” he tweeted thereafter. “There’s a limited, CP2077 edition of the smartphone coming soon. More details on this China-exclusive partnership will be announced in early November.”
The Chinese manufacturers also posted a short teaser video to Chinese social media platform Weibo in which CCTV footage shows the device ringing, giving us a peek at what the screen looks like. You could see the footage right below:
The standard version of the cell phone will come to the U.S and UK next week but the Cyberpunk 2077 version won’t be made available for preorder until November 4. Sadly, though, this is a limited edition and will be exclusive to China.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC on November 19. The game will also be made available for the upcoming PS5, Xbox Series X, and Series S.
In the meantime, fans can enjoy Cloudpunk. Based in an open-world setting, the title offers players control of Raina in the vertical city of Nivalis as she works as a courier for the Cloudpunk delivery service.
The game launched for PC back in April but consoles got it this week, with Nintendo Switch preorders being made available last week.
