Destiny 2's Solstice event has seen a major rework this year, complete with a new title for dedicated Guardians to earn. Flamekeeper is an event-exclusive title that requires you to complete 24 Solstice-themed Triumphs. As with most titles, you can also gild this title once you earn it.

Most of the challenges tied to Flamekeeper are quite straightforward, requiring you to play multiple games of Bonfire Bash or ritual content. However, if you're looking for a quick way of completing most challenges, you've come to the right place. This guide will cover all 24 Triumphs tied to the Flamekeeper title and how best to complete them.

Bashing Success

Bashing Success: Complete the Bonfire Bash activity.

Bonfire Bash is an activity exclusive to Solstice. Speak to Eva Levante to acquire your armor set, then interact with the hologram near Eva to start the activity. Finish the Bonfire Bash run to complete this Triumph. If you leave that Bonfire Bash instance for whatever reason, you can queue up the activity from the Tower's Directory map. Check out our Solstice 2022 guide for an in-depth breakdown of the Bonfire Bash activity.

Good Ignite

Good Ignite: Defeat 20 Ignition Carriers in the Bonfire Bash.

Ignition Carriers are minibosses you'll fight during the Bonfire Bash event, marked on your HUD with a white diamond. Defeat 20 of them to complete this challenge. Since you need to defeat 20 of them to spawn the final boss, it's possible to finish this Triumph in a single Bonfire Bash—provided you are the only one in the lobby. Otherwise, expect this Triumph to finish after three to five runs.

Torch The Taken

Torch the Taken: Defeat 20 Taken in the Bonfire Bash.

Throwing enough Igniters into the Solstice Bonfire will spawn a few Taken on the edges of the map. Defeating 20 of these Taken will complete this challenge. So long as you're actively killing the Taken when they appear, this shouldn't take more than a couple of runs to finish.

Fuel For The Fire

Fuel for the Fire: Stoke 50 flames in the Bonfire Bash.

Stoking the flame in Bonfire Bash requires you to throw Ignition orbs at the bonfire, an item that drops from slain Ignition Carriers. Each orb you throw grants one point towards this Triumph, meaning you'll need to throw 50 Ignite orbs to finish this challenge. Seeing as you can only deposit 20 orbs per run, this will take at least three runs to finish. Expect to finish this Triumph after ten runs or so.

Ash Tray

Ash Tray: Collect 500 Silver Ash.

Silver Ash is a currency that drops at the end of a Bonfire Bash activity. Wearing any Solstice gear will cause additional Ash to drop at the end of the mission, up to 20 Silver Ash if you deposit 20 Ignite orbs. Assuming you get 20 Ash a run, this Triumph will take 25 runs to complete.

All Around The Bonfire

All Around the Bonfire: Complete the Bonfire Bash activity against all combatant races twice.

Bonfire Bash chooses a random enemy faction when it begins. You can fight against the Cabal, Fallen, or Hive. For this Triumph, you must defeat each faction twice. This will boil down to RNG, so focus on the other Triumphs first. If you somehow complete all other 23 Triumphs and haven't fought the other factions twice, start and leave the Bonfire Bash activity until you face the enemy faction you need.

Fuel For The Fire II

Fuel for the Fire II: Stoke 100 flames in the Bonfire Bash.

This is the same challenge as the original Fuel for the Fire, although the progress from that Triumph carries over here. As before, throw as many Ignition orbs into the bonfire as you can. You'll need to throw 100 orbs to finish this challenge.

Fuel For The Fire III

Fuel for the Fire III: Stoke 150 flames in the Bonfire Bash.

As before, grab as many Ignition orbs per run as you can. The past two Fuel for the Fire Triumphs carry over here, so you'll only need to deposit 50 more orbs. Completing this challenge also grants an Exotic Sparrow.

Like Wildfire

Like Wildfire: Defeat targets anywhere in the system. Defeating Guardians awards bonus progress.

Since this Triumph doesn't give a specific number, your best bet is to complete the other Triumphs first; this one will passively complete in the background. If you want to finish this Triumph quickly, you can either boot up a kill farm—Shuro Chi in Last Wish being a good choice—or any Crucible mode, seeing as Guardians grant more progress. Weekly rotating playlists and Rumble are your best bet for quick PvP matches.

Pyromania

Pyromania: Defeat combatants with Solar abilities.

Solar received a massive rework this season, so completing this Triumph shouldn't take much time. Focus on building your character for Ignites, as these explosions can one-shot most fodder enemies.

Some build recommendations:

  • Hunter: Use Caliban's Hand with Ember of Torches and Knock 'Em Down. Melee a red bar to instantly kill them, creating a massive explosion.
  • Titan: You can use either Hammer Strike or Consecration. In either case, focus on reducing your melee cooldown with Ember of Searing and melee-regenerating armor mods.
  • Warlock: Starfire Protocol with Ember of Ashes and Touch of Flame will guarantee an Ignite after a Fusion Grenade explosion. Alternatively, use Incinerating Snap with Ember of Ashes.

Superlative

Superlative: Defeat targets with Super abilities.

Roaming Supers are your best pick for this Triumph. Any Supers that have a long duration are recommended, and pairing them with Super-enhancing Exotics is a good idea.

Here are some good roaming Supers for this Triumph:

  • Hunter: Golden Gun – Deadshot with Ember of Combustion and Knock 'Em Down can kill dozens of enemies with ease.
  • Titan: Sentinel Shield with Doomfang Pauldrons can remain active for over a minute when used properly.
  • Warlock: Well of Radiance causes all weapon kills to count as Super kills. If you prefer a more active Super, Stormtrance with Crown of Tempests lasts for quite some time.

Fire Power

Fire Power: Defeat combatants or opposing Guardians with Power weapons.

Whenever Mayhem is active in the Crucible, we recommend farming that for some easy Power weapon kills. Excluding that, run Gambit. Each wave you clear is forced to spawn a Heavy ammo crate, making it quite easy to rack up Power weapon kills.

Forged In Flame

Forged in Flames: Defeat 100 opposing Guardians in any activity.

If it wasn't obvious, Crucible is your best pick for getting Guardian kills. Rumble and rotating playlists—notably Momentum Control and Mayhem—make it quite easy to land at least a few kills per match. Good PvP players can finish this Triumph in just a few games. If you aren't a great Crucible player, stick with your team and teamshot. Pulse Rifles are great in this sandbox, especially Exotics like No Time to Explain and Vigilance Wing.

Hand Lighter

Hand Lighter: Defeat targets with Hand Cannons.

There isn't a specific kill requirement tied to this Triumph, but this should be fairly easy. Hand Cannons are great in just about every activity. Just remember to use one. We recommend using 140 RPM Hand Cannons in PvP. Use whatever you like in PvE.

Return to Quick Links

Shotgun Solstice

Shotgun Solstice: Defeat targets with Shotguns.

As with Hand Lighter, there isn't a specific kill tracker tied to Shotgun Solstice. We recommend completing this challenge by farming PvE enemies. Kill farms work best for this, but feel free to farm Bonfire Bash or other seasonal content. Pellet Shotguns all got a damage buff when Solstice launched, so just about every Shotgun should be doing respectable damage. Rapid-Fire Frames and Precision Frames (slug variants) are recommended.

Return to Quick Links

Burn Them Down

Burn Them Down: Defeat 60 bosses anywhere in the system.

We recommend farming Public Events and Lost Sectors for this challenge, slightly biasing the former since Public Events are tied to another Flamekeeper Triumph. The EDZ and Nessus typically have a Public Event active at all times. For Lost Sectors, the EDZ and Europa Lost Sectors are quite short.

Return to Quick Links

Raking The Coals

Raking the Coals: Complete playlist activities to earn Silver Leaves.

By wearing at least one piece of Solstice gear, you'll earn Silver Leaves upon completing any activity. Playlist activities—Vanguard Ops, Crucible, and Gambit—grant four Silver Leaves when completed. Wearing additional pieces can increase this amount up to seven. You gain around 12% progress for obtaining seven Silver Leaves.

For most players, we recommend farming Vanguard Ops. They're fairly short and easy to complete. Momentum Control and Mayhem are also great PvP playlists to farm whenever they're active.

Return to Quick Links

Solstice Jubilee

Solstice Jubilee: Complete Public Events on any destination to earn Silver Leaves.

Heroic Public Events grant 10% progress for this Triumph, so you should only have to complete ten Public Events. The EDZ and Nessus almost always have a Public Event active, although you can complete Public Events on any planet to make progress.

Return to Quick Links

Lamplighter

Lamplighter: Complete Patrols on any destination to earn Silver Leaves.

Each Patrol you complete grants 10% progress, meaning you'll only need to complete ten Patrols for this Triumph. We recommend kill and scavenge Patrols to get this done quickly. The EDZ and Nessus Patrols have fairly low kill requirements to complete, but we recommend you farm them in Savathun's Throne World instead; one of this year's Solstice Triumphs requires you to complete activities on that destination.

Return to Quick Links

Dare To Dream

Dare to Dream: Complete runs of the Blind Well or Dares of Eternity to earn Silver Leaves.

Blind Well is an activity you can find in the Dreaming City. Dares of Eternity grants 25% progress per run, so we recommend farming that to finish this Triumph. Equip your favorite Heavy weapon, be sure to obtain the Starhorse's Favor buff, and enjoy infinite Heavy ammo for the entire match.

Return to Quick Links

Brightfall

Brightfall: Complete Vanguard Ops or Nightfalls to earn Silver Leaves.

Brightfall is one of the tougher challenges to complete, requiring you to complete around a dozen Vanguard Op missions. If the weekly Nightfall mission is short, consider farming the Adept variant of the Nightfall to make this farm slightly faster.

Return to Quick Links

Fires Of Competition

Fires of Competition: Complete matches in Crucible or Gambit playlists to earn Silver Leaves.

You need to complete 25 Crucible or Gambit matches to finish this Triumph. And yes, it is 25 regardless of how much Solstice gear you have equipped. This will likely be one of the last Triumphs you'll complete during the event, so consider completing the other challenges first.

Crucible takes far less time than Gambit, so we recommend you farm the Crucible's shorter playlists. We find Rumble, Momentum Control, and Mayhem to be the best playlists for short PvP matches. It doesn't matter if you win or lose; you just need to finish the match.

Return to Quick Links

A Spark In The Dark

A Spark in the Dark: Complete Sever missions or rounds of Altars of Sorrow to earn Silver Leaves.

Each Sever mission grants 20% progress, so we recommend farming Sever missions if you can. Sever – Resolve is quite short and can be cleared in just a few minutes. If you don't own Season of the Haunted, farm Altars of Sorrow on the Moon instead.

Return to Quick Links

In The Hot Seat

In the Hot Seat: Complete activities within the Throne World to earn Silver Leaves.

Just about every activity counts for this Triumph. We recommend completing Public Events, Patrols, and Lost Sectors while in the Throne World. This will grant progress for multiple challenges. If you already finished those previous challenges, consider farming Lost Sectors or the Wellspring activity.
