Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris rewards this week and Bungie map reveal

Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris is kicking off today across all platforms ahead of the game’s next big reveal. It won’t be long until we find out what loot is coming our way and what new map has been selected by the development team. The Destiny 2 event will be launching on June 5, and is expected to be one of the last of the current season.

Bungie won’t reveal the list of the new reward themselves, so it will be up to gamers to provide what weapons and armour can be earned over the coming days.

Meanwhile, Trials of Osiris map news will be confirmed as soon as everything goes online on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Bungie has been focusing on the future of Destiny 2, and it looks like big news is coming next week.

A new update has been confirmed for Tuesday, June 9, with Season 11 and future news regarding the game also set to be revealed.

The Tuesday patch notes have already been shared and confirm that there will be changes made to Trials of Osiris, which can be found at the bottom of the article.

Bungie has also confirmed that Season of the Worthy is still on schedule to end on Tuesday, with no delays expected.

A message from Bungie explains: “Within Destiny 2, you may have been watching the approach of the Almighty.

“You’re itching to see the conclusion of the Season, but you’re also starting to hear whispers of what’s coming next. Join us on Tuesday, June 9 at 9 AM PDT to learn about the future of Destiny 2.

“When Season of the Worthy ends at the weekly reset on June 9, 2020, there will be a number of items, activities, and Triumphs that will no longer be available to players.”

Meanwhile, Trials of Osiris will be the main draw for Destiny 2 players this week, with loot coming to those who can win.

The development team will be releasing the 3v3 Crucible playlist at around 6pm GMT on June 5, 2020, and returning players will want to visit Saint-14 soon after, who will be located in the Tower Hangar.

The Osiris reset offers a new inventory of Trials Passages, Bounties, and the option to turn in Trials Tokens.

A different map and a fresh set of rewards will be available to Guardians today if they meet the requirements of the 960 Power rating needed to buy Passages.

As ever, Trials fans will earn exclusive rewards by defeating other teams of three, while hoping to gain entry to the Lighthouse.

But gamers will have to wait until Trials of Osiris launches to find out exactly what loot will be available and what map will be featured.

This mode will be available until Tuesday, June 9 and will end before the weekly reset has been completed.
