Dragon Marked For Death Hits PC, Gets 3.0.0 Patch For Switch

Dragon Marked for Death has just hit Steam and also received it’s 3.0.0 update.

The great thing about modern retro games is that they add multiplayer co-op to classic 2D side-scrolling action. Imagine if you could play Mega Man with four players cooperatively over the internet? You’d just have a better game, right there.

Dragon Marked for Death is exactly that. Play with up to four players in online co-op as you seek revenge against the Kingdom of Medius for destroying your homeland. Go on quests to save villagers and raise your status within the kingdom, leading to an ultimate battle against evil where those previous quests have a direct impact on the game’s outcome.

Plus it’s a lot of pixelated action combined with classic RPG elements. ‘Ain’t nothing wrong with that.

Update 3.0.0 just arrived for Dragon Marked for Death which adds two new characters (The Oracle and The Bandit) as well as raises the level cap to 100. There are new weapon categories and even weapon upgrade paths to keep your favorite weapon sharp.

There’s also a third save slot on the Nintendo Switch version, a brand new quest called “Training Grounds,” and a bunch of squashed bugs.

You can grab Dragon Marked for Death for 20% off on Steam, or you can pay full price on the Switch.
