E3 2021 will end with an all-new awards show

E3 is less than two weeks away and this year, everything on display during the show will be up for some newly created awards. E3 2021 will have an awards show with honors chosen by editors from IGN, GameSpot, PC Gamer, and GamesRadar.

The pool of nominees covers every game showcased throughout E3’s four-day, online-only event. The awards show’s top honors will go to the “most anticipated” game overall, with selections given to the most anticipated games of certain publishers and developers. The winners will be announced on June 15, the final day of the E3 broadcast.

E3’s official Twitter account also mentioned that the broadcast would be “packed with exciting announcement and reveals.” However, after a second tweet for clarification, it seems that the “broadcast” that was being referred to is actually the four-day long official E3 stream, not the awards broadcast itself, which it seems won’t feature any additional announcements.

E3’s 2021 will be carried live on just about every streaming platform you can think of, including Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and E3’s own website and app. The show begins June 12 and runs until June 15.
