Escape From Tarkov: How To Complete Big Customer

Every run in Escape From Tarkov is a nail biting, jaw clenching fight where limping to the extraction point with your life is worthy of celebration. At least that’s how it is for most of us. Some players out there are ready to take on quests that give them more to worry about when slinking through a map besides staying alive. The Big Customer quest given by Prapor has fairly simple requirements, but nothing in Tarkov is ever easy. Here’s what you need to know to complete Big Customer in Escape From Tarkov.

How To Complete Big Customer

The Big Customer quest only opens up after you have completed the Chemical – Part 3 quest you can take on from Skier. Once you do, you can speak to Prapor who has noticed you doing some work for them. He wants to know the location of the chemicals to sell them to the titular big customer, offering to cut you in on the deal if you help.

Your objectives are, on paper, simple. You need to go into Customs, find a transport with the chemicals, mark them with a beacon, wait 30 seconds, and extract with your life. Simple, right?

Before jumping right into Customs, you should purchase the beacon you will need from Prapor so you know you have it ready. Keep it in your pouch just in case the worst should happen.

Once you get into Customs, you need to get to the warehouse near the SCAV checkpoint to find the van inside. Depending on where you spawn, this can be very easy or incredibly hard. It is possible to spawn inside the warehouse itself, making this quest very luck dependent. Obviously don’t anger the SCAVs, and keep an eye out for enemy PMCs since this is often a hot area.

Once you find the van, place the beacon on the side and a countdown timer will begin. You don’t need to stay right beside the van for the beacon to work, so just find someplace safe to bunker down in and wait out the timer. Once it hits zero, all that’s left is getting out alive. Check your extraction zones and get out of there as fast as possible.

Big Customer Rewards

Depending on who you turn this quest into, you will get a different set of rewards.

If you go back to Prapor you can claim your first option of rewards. These include:

  • 8,200 EXP
  • +0.1 Rep with Prapor, but -0.01 Rep with Jaeger
  • 200,000 Roubles
  • PACA Soft Armor
  • and two ammo cases

You can also choose to go to Skier instead for slightly different rewards:

  • 6,600 EXP
  • +0.1 Skier Rep and -0.01 Jaeger Rep
  • 35,000 Roubles
  • One grenade case
  • and the ability to buy the ZSh-1-2M helmet from Ragman

Finally, you can also go to Therapist and receive:

  • 8,300 EXP
  • +0.3 Therapist Rep
  • 170,000 Roubles
  • and a meds case.
