Guilty Gear Strive open beta start time is fast approaching, with fighting game fans soon getting the chance to try out the latest offering from the masters of the genre Arc System Works. Guilty Gear Strive has a release date of April 6, but ahead of this big launch PS4 and PS5 gamers will get a chance to try out the game for free. That’s thanks to an open beta period that is launching this week.
If you pre-ordered Guilty Gear Strive digitally then you should have some beta codes winging its way to you now.
This gives fans early access to the Guilty Gear Strive open beta.
If you pre-ordered the new Guilty Gear then you’ll be able to jump into the next beta test from 3am GMT on Thursday February 18.
For those in the States that’s 7pm pacific time and 10pm eastern time on Wednesday February 17.
If you haven’t pre-ordered Guilty Gear Strive then not to worry, you can still jump in to the open beta a bit later on.
The Guilty Gear Strive open beta will be open to everyone from 3am GMT on Friday February 19. If you’re in the US that’s 7pm pacific and 10pm eastern on Thursday February 18.

The Guilty Gear Strive beta is running for just a few days and finishes up on the weekend.
The beta ends at 2.59pm GMT on Sunday February 21, which is 9.59am eastern time and 6.59am pacific time.
If you want to play the Guilty Gear beta, then an added bonus is you don’t need to be a member of PlayStation Plus to play online.
So you can simply download the Guilty Gear open beta from the PS Store next week and get into some online action.
You can also play the new Guilty Gear game offline, but you’ll still have to have an online connection for this beta test.

Playable characters: 13 characters (Anji Mito and 15th character not available).
Available modes: Versus mode (play against CPU or another player), Tutorial, Training and Network modes.
