No Elder Scrolls 6 news until ‘years from now’ admits Bethesda

All we know so far about The Elder Scrolls 6 is that it will release after Starfield, and we know nothing about that game either.

As far as The Elder Scrolls 6 is concerned, we haven’t really heard anything about it from Bethesda since E3 2018.

There have certainly been rumours regarding details such as its release date, but that’s all they are, and it doesn’t look like we’re going to hear anything official for a long time.

Recently, Pete Hines, Bethesda’s senior vice president of global marketing, was asked by a fan on Twitter about when we could expect new info about Elder Scrolls 6.

‘So if you’re coming at me for details now and not years from now, I’m failing to properly manage your expectations,’ he answered.

While Bethesda did cancel its digital showcase this year, it is taking part in the Summer Game Fest, which is meant to serve as a replacement of sorts for the cancelled E3.

However, Hines’ comment seems to more-or-less confirm that whatever Bethesda intends to show off, it won’t be Elder Scrolls 6.

We may, at the very least, learn something new about Starfield. Last month, supposedly leaked gameplay footage was posted online, but it was more than likely a convincing fake.
