PSN servers are currently down, leaving PS4 owners unable to play games online.
The PSN server status makes grim reading for fans, who have complained about not being able to access the PlayStation Network.
Independent website Down Detector has received thousands of reports that PSN isn’t working.
The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect when services go down across the world.
The Down Detector outage map shows that the PSN issues are affecting users in the UK, Europe, the US and Japan.
Fans are unable to login, before eventually being greeted by an error message.
The problems are so severe that fans have taken to social media to vent their frustrations.

The views are echoed by another fan, who writes: “I can’t play or login in #psndown @PlayStation fix yo console.”

“Is psn down for you guys to did it sign you out and cant log in due to error.”
Sony is yet to acknowledge the problems on the PlayStation Network server status page, which lists everything as working correctly.
