The Crown Tundra DLC for Pokemon Sword & Shield is finally here, and it’s adding several Legendary Pokemon from the Hoenn region to the game. Here’s how to catch Regirock in the Crown Tundra.
Regirock is one of the Legendary Titans of Hoenn, alongside Regice and Registeel. Two new Regis have also been introduced in the Crown Tundra: Regieleki and Regidrago. The group received a master in Pokemon Diamond & Pearl, with the introduction of Regigigas in the Sinnoh region. Regirock is a mysterious golem-like Pokemon and it’s said to be one of the oldest beings in existence. Here’s everything you need to know about where to find Regirock in the Crown Tundra.

Pokemon Crown Tundra Regirock Guide — Opening The Temple
The Regis can be found in temples spread across the Crown Tundra. Regirock is found in a brownish/yellow temple in Giant’s Bed, which has seven dots above its door in the shape of the letter “H”. In order to enter this temple, you need to find an Everstone and make sure that the lead Pokemon in your party has it equipped. Interact with the door after giving the Pokemon an Everstone and it will open. Everstones can be dug up by the Digging Duo in the Wild Area, given as reward for Poke Jobs, or can be held by wild Boldore, Gigalith, or Roggenrola.
Inside the temple, there are seven dots on the floor. Save your game and then step on each of the dots. This will cause the statue in the room to glow. Interact with the statue to start the battle with Regirock.
Pokemon Crown Tundra Regirock Guide — How To Catch Regirock
Unlike the Dynamax Adventures Legendary Pokemon and their 100% catch rate, Regirock is considered a wandering Legendary and it’s possible to knock it out. Regirock is a difficult opponent, as it’s a level 70 Rock-type Legendary Pokemon that is incredibly resistant to being caught. Expect to use a lot of Ultra Balls, even if Regirock is dropped to 1 HP or inflicted with status effects. As a Rock-type Pokemon, Regirock takes double damage from Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water, and Grass-type moves. Regirock knows Curse, Hammer Edge, Stone Edge, and Superpower, so any Pokemon that resist Rock/Fighting-type moves will be especially useful in this fight.
