This week, gamers can try out a number of free PS4 games, with more popping up on PSN later this week.
Sony has a good track record of keeping the PlayStation Store up to date with free demos and trials, with the latest now available to download.
The first is a highly rated PlayStation VR game that now comes with its own free demo. Paper Beast VR can be claimed from the PSN right now and comes well-reviewed.
The good news is that the Paper Beast Demo isn’t a timed release, meaning there is no current limit on how long you can enjoy it.
The new trial has been put in place to encourage people to buy the full version of the game, and provides a snippet of gameplay.
There’s no firm description on how long the new trial lasts but it should provide enough to give gamers a good insight into what to expect from the full experience.
It should be noted that while this new demo is available to everyone on the PlayStation Store, you must a PSVR setup to play it.
The Paper Beast Demo description reads: “Paper Beast is the latest adventure game from the creator of Another World. Be the first to explore this virgin land where nature is the star.
“In this demo, plunge into a mysterious world and meet surprising creatures. This peaceful world exudes a wild energy.
“The tension is palpable. Now it’s up to you to discover what lies beneath the surface of the strange world of Paper Beast.
“As the adventure unfolds, forge ties with creatures that are majestic and curious, or even whimsical. Help them, protect them, and face off against the environment.
“The gameplay is based on a unique physics game engine. Excavate the terrain, resist storms, divert raging waters. The environment constantly adapts to your actions…
