Amazon’s PS5 restock has been delayed by another day, which means fans face a longer wait to get their hands on PlayStation 5 stock.

Following a healthy John Lewis stock drop in the early hours, PlayStation 5 customers were expecting Amazon to follow suit with a restock of its own.

Unfortunately, however, the PlayStation 5 restock failed to materialise at the UK retailer.

According to PS5 UK Stock Twitter account, the delayed Amazon stock drop has been shifted back a day, to May 19.

The console typically comes back in stock between 8-9am BST, so head on over to Express Online’s PS5 live blog for up to the minute alerts.

PS5 UK restock LIVE alerts: Amazon, John Lewis, Very, Tesco stock drop dates and times

“Amazon did not drop, so they are holding on until tomorrow 8-9am,” reads a PS5 UK Stock tweet. “Typical times are 8:30-8:45am.”

This was followed by some advice on how best to secure a console over on PS5 UK Stock – Instant Updates.

The stock checker account recommends adding the PS5 to your Amazon wishlist, before moving it over to the checkout.

“Amazon releases Digital slightly after Disc – likely drop today or tomorrow,” PS5 UK Stock Instant Update tweets. “Recommend adding #PS5 to your wishlist then moving to basket!”

Previous reports have suggested the Amazon stock drop will be one of the bigger restocks yet.

Amazon will reportedly have around 8,000 disc-based consoles for sale, as well as 2,400 digital units.

With Very and Tesco also tipped to restock the device this week, plus Smyths at the end of the month, fans have a much better chance of securing a console.
