Team Krohnen is a brand-new team introduced in The King of Fighters 15. However, aside from the mysterious leader, Krohnen, the other two members are returning characters and are jumping ship from their previous teams found in KOF14. Former Team Mexico's Ángel joins the team along with K' Team's Kula Diamond to form a devastating team composition.

While you can build your own terrifying teams in KOF 15, Team Krohnen is a formidable force from the jump and will be extraordinarily powerful in the right hands. The King of Fighters has always been about solid team composition, and the group of unique fighters found on Team Krohnen makes it hard to disband them.

Team Krohnen Strategy Guide

Team Krohnen possesses some of the more accessible characters in the game. Krohnen and Kula Diamond have a fundamental "All-Rounder" focus, making a great entry point for newcomers. However, the Rushdown fighter Ángel may be the most complex and challenging character to pick up in The King of Fighters 15.

While they all possess unique abilities, and the contrast between Ángel and her teammates is quite significant, they make a solid team and are amongst the best in the game because of it. Be warned, however, learning Ángel will take quite a bit of work, but it is absolutely worth it in the long run if this team composition interests you in any way.

Krohnen Strategy Guide

Krohnen is among the most accessible characters to pick up and play in KOF 15. While he won't excel in any one area, his All-Rounder archetype allows him to be more than serviceable in most situations.

Due to Krohnen being pretty decent in many situations, his strategy typically revolves around the neutral game and finding ways to mix his strong jumping attacks throughout the match. Krohnen has many ways to hit confirm and dish out combos if the attack lands successfully, which allows him to play safe and control the flow of the match if you know what you're doing.

Krohnen is an excellent fighter to put anywhere in the rotation and may work best as the lead due to his ability to match up well against most opponents. He won't necessarily "wow" anyone, but he will surely help you take a round or two, which is all that matters.

Ángel Strategy Guide

As mentioned briefly above, Ángel is arguably the most challenging character to learn in The King of Fighters 15, primarily due to her crazy "Unchain Suite" of attacks. However, don't let this deter you from trying her out, as she can be pretty terrifying in the right hands.

Ángel is a Rushdown fighter and must apply suffocating amounts of pressure on her opposition to emerge victoriously. Luckily for her, her entire move list is based on this exact principle. She has a deep command list and many combo routes and ways to open her opponent up, making her a genuinely unique and rewarding character if you can spare the time to learn her properly.

Due to her tremendously high learning curve, Ángel may be best suited for the middle or last entry for your team or might even be better off sitting on the sidelines until you experiment with what she's capable of in training or the story mode. Ángel is exhilarating but requires lots of work, so be prepared before diving into her!

Kula Diamond Strategy Guide

Like Krohnen, Kula Diamond is an excellent All-Rounder fighter and is a perfect choice for newcomers to the genre or the series. Due to her All-Rounder archetype, she falls into a similar situation as Krohnen, where she won't blow anyone away and doesn't excel at any one thing but can hold her own in most scenarios thrown her way.

Kula Diamond has better than average normal attacks, making her perform exceptionally well in the neutral game. Additionally, Kula possesses the ability to launch projectiles at her opponent and reflect their own projectiles back at them, which allows her to get in close and fluster the opposition, which is her strongest feature.

Due to her being so accessible, Kula Diamond can get placed just about anywhere in the rotation. Still, we strongly recommend making her the lead or firmly placing her in the middle of the pack. Kula can win rounds with ease, which is always a good thing in KOF 15.
