When a player picks up an epic kill in any game, they want the world to see. Luckily, this incredible shot was streaming live on Twitch as it happened.
Warzone has only been around for a month at this point. It feels like a lot longer, and we don’t mean that in a bad way. Call of Duty‘s take on the battle royale genre has taken the gaming world by storm. More than 50 million people have given Warzone a try during its first month alone, and as new modes are added, it continues to grow in popularity.
Even though it’s only been a month, there have already been some pretty epic shots and amazing kills on show. Whether it be someone being sniped from what feels like miles away, or an entire squad being decimated by one lonely warrior. We honestly thought we had seen it all already.
When most players use RPGs in Warzone, or any game for that matter, it’s to wreak havoc. Accuracy and precision don’t really come into it. Not if you’re Blessedmma. The Warzone player carefully lines up a shot with an RPG, aiming for a helicopter so far away that a more short-sighted player probably wouldn’t have even been able to see it.
As the rocket sails through the air, it almost feels as if it goes in slow-motion as it nears the far-off chopper. The closer it gets, the more animated Blessedmma and his teammates become. Then it happens. The shot taken from all that distance away connects and blows the helicopter, as well as everyone in it, to smithereens. Imagine watching that moments later on your killcam.
Watching the clip above will have any Warzone player on the edge of their seat, no matter how many times they watch it. Then the reality will set in, at least for most of us. That no matter how much we play Warzone, even if it stands the test of time and goes on for years, we will never pull off a shot as good as this. Yet Blessedmma managed it within six weeks of the game’s release.
