Weather Week Starts March 24 In Pokemon Go – Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Pokemon Go has been enjoying a lot of events lately. We are now finally winding down with the Charge Up event, but another brand new experienced is due to start tomorrow, and that is Weather Week. Weather Week is dedicated to Pokemon that love it to be windy and wet, which is what we in the UK thrive in.

This event will feature Castform as its mascot, and you’ll be able to catch plenty of Normal and Rainy Form Castform, in addition to plenty of other Pokemon that enjoy these conditions, including Ducklett and Wingull.

In this guide we’ll be breaking down everything that you can expect to see during the Weather Week event so you can prepare your Pokeballs and clear space for all of the items and Pokemon you will be able to horde. I’m finally going to evolve my Ducklett.

What Time Is The Weather Week Event Live In Pokemon Go?

The Weather Week event kicks off on March 24 at 10am local time, and will last until March 29 at 8pm. This is a fairly short event, so make sure to get out and capture as many Pokemon as you need before the end of the month.

New Wild Pokemon And Egg Hatches For Weather Week

We’ve already mentioned that Castform, Ducklett, and Wingull will be available more commonly in the wild, but they’re certainly not all of the Pokemon you’ll be saying when you take a walk. We don’t know exactly which Pokemon will be available in the wild, but we know for certain these will be appearing:

  • Castform
  • Wingull
  • Ducklett
  • Vaporeon
  • Lotad
  • Stunfisk
  • Skarmory
  • Taillow
  • Pidove

The following Pokemon will also be appearing from 5km eggs, which means that they will likely also be found in the wild:

  • Psyduck
  • Poliwag
  • Swablu
  • Drifloon
  • Mantyke
  • Tympole
  • Ducklett

You can probably expect the one-star raid Pokemon to also appear in the wild.

All Raid Pokemon For Weather Week, Including Therian Forme Thundurus

Here are all of the raid Pokemon we know are due to show up during Weather Week.

One-Star Raids

  • Slowpoke
  • Tynamo

Two-Star Raids

  • Swellow
  • Pelipper

Five-Star Raids

  • Therian Forme Thundurus

Mega Raids

  • Mega Houndoom
  • Mega Manetric
  • Mega Abomasnow

Other Weather Week Bonuses

Therian Forme Thundurus is a great reason to get involved during Weather Week, but there are yet more bonuses to sink your teeth into. For one, those that wish to have their avatar remain fashionable will be pleased to see brand new avatar items in the shop, and everyone is always pleased with extra Stardust being rewarded for catching Pokemon with Weather Boost.

In addition to that, there will of course be event-exclusive Field and Timed Research tasks that will reward you with Rainy Form Castform encounters, in addition to much more.

Therian Forme Changes

Once Weather Week is over, Therian Forme Thundurus will be leaving raids, so this is your last chance to participate and catch this rare Pokemon. Taking its place is Therian Forme Tonadus, which will be available early in April with the next set of events.

Therian Forme Landorus still hasn’t made its Pokemon Go debut yet, but rest assured that will happen soon enough.

Am I supposed to write this in the third-person? Do you know how awkward it is talking about yourself like you’re someone else? No one would ever believe someone else has this many nice things to say about me.
