Xbox Live down: New Xbox One server outage confirmed by Microsoft

Xbox Live core online services, including being able to sign in to Microsoft accounts, have been hit by new issues.

Xbox One servers are currently down, leaving gamers unable to access online multiplayer games like GTA 5 and Call of Duty Warzone.

Microsoft has provided the latest information on the situation, confirming problems across multiple platforms.

According to the tech giant, there are issues tonight affecting gamers on Xbox One and Windows 10 not being able to sign in to their accounts, or complete the Xbox Live sign-in process on either platform.

The good news is that Microsoft is aware of the Xbox Live server outage and is currently looking to fix the problem.

“We are aware that some members may be having problems using this feature,” a Message from Microsoft adds.

“We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and we will be sure to provide you with frequent updates.”

Some players who were already logged in are now able to access normal online services on Xbox One.

However, others are having problems using other services, including running apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

And based on the number of reports coming in, it looks like servers could be back to normal before the end of today.

More news is expected if the current outage continues on consoles and Windows 10.
