Microsoft has announced another slate of Xbox Game Pass titles. The offerings include a favorite from a cult hit series, a brand-new release, and a preview of Obsidian’s survival game, among others to last you through the rest of July.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is one of the highlights, a remake of the classic Yakuza 2. You can also play Carrion, the horror game as played through the eyes of the monster, right on its proper release date. Plus the slate includes some games with chill vibes like the exploration-farming sim Forager and the similarly exploration-based puzzle game The Touryst.
Filling out the month’s releases are the standalone expansion Mount and Blade: Warband (Xbox One), Golf With Your Friends (PC), the card-battler Nowhere Prophet, and an Xbox Game Preview version of the Obsidian survival game Grounded.
Just a few games are rotating out this month. As of July 31, you’ll no longer be able to play Ashes Cricket, Rime, or The Banner Saga 3 through Game Pass. But as always you can pick them up at a discount if you’re a subscriber, as long as you grab them before they leave.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that offers a rotating selection of roughly 100 games. The Xbox and PC versions of the service cost $10 per month apiece, but Microsoft also offers a combined “Ultimate” subscription for $15 per month.
