Xbox Games Showcase: Watch the Xbox Series X game reveal stream here

Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase promises an hourlong look at games coming to Xbox Series X this holiday season and beyond. You can watch the Xbox Games Showcase live right here, starting at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT on Thursday, July 23.

One big game that will get plenty of attention during Microsoft’s game showcase is Halo Infinite, Master Chief’s next adventure, which is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC. First revealed in June 2019 as a “spiritual reboot” for the sci-fi shooter franchise (and as a launch game for Xbox Series X), Halo Infinite serves as both a continuation of the events of Halo 5: Guardians and “a great place to jump into the story” for new players.

We’re also likely to get an update on Everwild, the next game from Sea of Thieves developer Rare. Everwild was revealed at X019 in November, but beyond its concept of living with and nurturing nature, how Rare’s next game plays is still something of a mystery.

Beyond that, it’s also likely that stalwart Xbox franchises like Forza, Gears, and the heavily-rumored Fable sequel may also make appearances. And with head of Xbox Phil Spencer promising “the most diverse collection of first-party games that we’ve ever had,” expect a few surprises from Xbox Game Studios and third-party developers as well.
