Final Fantasy 7 Remake Aerith Dress Guide – How To Change Her Wall Market Outfit

The Wall Market section of Final Fantasy 7 Remake is one of the more fun and ridiculous parts of the game. It’s all about finding a way to get close to the reclusive Don Corneo, and Aerith’s plan to infiltrate the Don’s mansion requires putting her in a pretty new dress. Which dress you get, however, is based on some factors that aren’t very obvious at first blush.

Below we’ve got a full rundown of everything you need to know to unlock Aerith’s three dresses, and you get more information about finding every single dress with our Wall Market Dress Guide. Unlocking all three is necessary to earning the “Dressed to the Nines” Trophy, but you’ll need to finish Final Fantasy 7 Remake once in order to unlock the Chapter Select menu to see them all.

We have a whole lot more FF7 Remake coverage to help you find absolutely everything in the game. Check out our Final Fantasy 7 Remake guide rundown for more, and read our Final Fantasy 7 Remake review, which awards the game a rare GameSpot 10.

Aerith’s Dresses

It might seem like Aerith’s dresses are determined by your actions in Chapter 9–specifically, the answers you give during your visit to Madam M’s, or your performance in the Corneo Colosseum, since that’s where you get the money for Aerith’s outfit.

In fact, it’s not Chapter 9, but your actions in Chapter 8, that determine what Aerith’s look is. It’s all about the side-quests you complete: the more side-quests you finish, the more elaborate Aerith’s dress is. If you do no side-quests, she’ll have a plain dress, but if you complete all six, she’ll have an extremely elegant one.

Zero Chapter 8 Side-quests

Instead of doing any side-quests, head back to Aerith’s house and enter through the front door to progress the story.

Three Chapter 8 Side-quests

Any three side-quests will do, including the Moogle Emporium quest (which just requires you to buy a Moogle Emporium membership for one Moogle Medal). When you’ve got three finished, head back to Aerith’s mom’s house.

Six Chapter 8 Side-quests

You’ll need to complete Chapter 8 three total times in order to see all of Aerith’s looks, using the Chapter Select menu that unlocks once you’ve completed every chapter in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
