Hitman 3’s first mission is free to try this week

You can now drop into Agent 47’s World of Assassination for free. Developer IO Interactive released a new version of Hitman 3 called the Free Starter Pack, which lets players check out the game’s first level, Dubai, for free. The mission will only be included in the pack from March 30 to April 5.

The Free Starter Pack normally only includes two areas: The ICA Facility and Hawke’s Bay. These are the two prologue missions from Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2. Both levels are more like tutorials than your standard Hitman sandbox level, so IO is throwing in Hitman 3’s Dubai mission as an added bonus for the rest of the week.

The Dubai mission takes players to the top of the world’s tallest building to assassinate targets in any way they see fit. It’s a massive level and one of the standouts in Hitman 3’s campaign. This mission should let players get a sense of what a real Hitman level is like and let them play through it their way, whether that’s guns blazing or as the perfect silent assassin.

The Hitman 3 Free Starter Pack is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR, Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Any progress players make while playing the Free Starter Pack will also carry over to the full game. The Free Starter Pack will also get additional content in the future, according to IO Interactive.
