Astralis has made yet another roster move as the Danish organization has signed Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen in place of Jakob “JUGi” Hansen. While JUGi had only been with the team for a couple of months, he stated that his time with Astralis “only confirmed to me, this is what I want to do and I look forward to playing for another team.”
Bubzkji has been signed to a two year contract according to Kasper Hvidt, Director of Sports for Astralis Group.
“We have looked for a skilled, hungry profile that could step right in and take his natural role on the team. Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen fulfills all these criteria and I am glad we have managed to secure his signature on a 2-year contract,” Hvidt said. “As always it will take time to get used to Astralis’ playbook, but after talking with him, the coach, and the team, I have no doubt Lucas will be able to contribute from day one”
This leaves Astralis with seven players still, a spot very few teams have ever seen themselves in. Currently both Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth are still on leave from the team although it’s expected gla1ve will return in August.
Astralis are now:
-Nicolai “device” Reedtz
-Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen
-Emil “Magisk” Reif
-Patrick “es3tag” Hansen
-Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen
-Danny “zonic” Sørensen (coach)
-Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander (on leave)
-Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth (on leave)
