German esports organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG) has extended its partnership with mineral water brand Volvic.
The deal will expand on existing projects between the two parties, alongside Volvic continuing its partnership of BIG’s League of Legends team.

The partnership, which began in June 2020, saw a number of original pieces of content produced by the two parties. This included its #StayHydrated campaign designed to promote the importance of drinking water. With the expansion, new content projects will be arriving in 2021, Moreover, Volvic will supply the organisation’s training facility with mineral water.
Daniel Finkler, CEO at BIG, spoke on the extension in a release: “The start of our partnership with Volvic in summer 2020 was a significant moment for German esports. We are incredibly happy that Volvic will continue to have our backs in 2021. In addition to League of Legends and Trackmania, Volvic will now also support our StarCraft icon Tobias “ShoWTimE“ Sieber.
“This year we aim to continue building on the success we’ve achieved in 2020. The early results are already very promising, and I look forward to the rest of our games alongside Volvic!”

Esports Insider says: After just eight months into the initial agreement, the decision for BIG and Volvic to extend and expand their existing partnership shows that it has proved fruitful for all parties involved in the deal.
