Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to appear at Gamescom Opening Night

We’re only a couple of days away from the world reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The reveal is set to take place in Call of Duty: Warzone on August 26, 10:30 am PT. Some have speculated that a trailer of some kind will be shown in the Gulag, but that’s unconfirmed. What is confirmed, however, is that Black Ops Cold War (BOCW) will make an appearance at Gamescom Opening Night. The annual event is set to begin on Thursday, August 27, and showcase another world premiere of the new title.

Black Ops Cold War appearing at Gamescom

Gamescom seems to be the destination for developers to showcase new games or content. Just recently, Fall Guys announced that its Season 2 will debut at the Opening Night of the event. Now, BOCW is set to make another premiere one day after its reveal trailer goes live.

The initial premiere is still set to take place in Warzone. However, it seems Gamescom will also have some kind of trailer or announcement on its Opening Night. Currently, it’s unclear if this will be different from what the Warzone trailer will be. However, host Geoff Keighley does specify that the world premiere will be a “new look.”

As the tweet states, Gamescom’s Opening Night is set to start at 2 pm ET/11 am PT on Thursday, August 27. Keighley didn’t say when exactly the Black Ops Cold War premiere will begin though, so fans might need to watch a good portion of the show to see the reveal.

If you’re looking to watch the event, you can do so on Gamescom’s official YouTube channel. You can still catch the world reveal of BOCW at 10:30 am PT on Wednesday, August 26 in Warzone‘s Verdansk.
