Can you change your appearance in Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 offers one of the biggest character customization menus in recent memory. Traditionally, RPGs will allow a player to design their character’s face, hair, body, etc. However, CD Projekt RED took it to a whole new level. While all of the traditional options are still present, you can also customize some extreme aspects of your character. All of these options have left players amazed at what they can create and introduce into Night City. However, some players are having buyer’s remorse and want to change a certain aspect of their character after they’ve started the game. The question is, does Cyberpunk allow you to do this?

Changing your appearance in Cyberpunk 2077

The short answer is no, you cannot change your appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 after you hit the streets of Night City. CD Projekt RED doesn’t allow this option at the moment but an update could arrive down the line that introduces more customization.

At the moment though, the only aspect of your character you can customize is their clothing. It’s pretty common to find clothing out in the world, so you’ll likely find yourself switching up styles pretty frequently. However, some players would much rather get a haircut or additional tattoos while roaming the streets.

Unfortunately, once you set your appearance at the start of a playthrough, it’s set in stone. It’s advised you choose your appearance wisely, as there are mirrors all around Night City that you can look into. If you don’t like the look of your character, you’ll be stuck looking at it in a mirror for the entirety of the game.

There’s currently no word from CD Projekt RED on when support for further customization will arrive — if it even will. However, the developers have stated that they will constantly push out updates so there’s still hope.
