Garena Sets Date for Free Fire World Series 2021 in Singapore

Garena released on Friday the details for the Free Fire World Series 2021, set to happen in Singapore on May 22 – 29. The competition will feature 22 teams from 14 different regions, all set to travel to Singapore under health protocols set by Garena to protect against the spread of COVID-19

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the Singapore Cybersports & Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) are partners of the initiative and will support Garena to ensure the safety of the event. For the competition, Singapore will receive teams from Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Indonesia, Russia/CIS, Europe, Latin America, Brazil, and MENA regions.

The Free Fire World Series prize pool is the highest among the Free Fire competitions in the world: $2M USD. In 2020 the competition was replaced by the Free Fire Continental Series due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
