Telecommunications company TIM announced Tuesday that it is renewing its sponsorship of paiN Gaming, one of the main esports organizations in Brazil and Latin America. Through the new deal, TIM keeps its product logo “TIM Live” on the jerseys of paiN’s League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and VALORANT rosters. It will also appear in all paiN’s social media channels and will have the image rights to use the athletes in promotional campaigns.
The first deal was signed in June 2019 and is extended for another year. It also includes the provision of an exclusive connection to paiN’s gaming office in São Paulo, seeking to assure a “quality connection” during training sessions and remote tournaments.
TIM Live is a fixed broadband service operated by the telecom, considered the most fitting product to be promoted in the esports universe by the company. To date, paiN Gaming holds the only sponsorship with TIM in Brazilian esports.
