Activision has announced what’s coming to Call of Duty: Mobile this week, and it includes a classic map, a new charity DLC offering, and more.
First, the map Highrise is headed to the mobile game this week. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because Highrise was originally featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The map is set on top of a skyscraper, and you need to watch where you walk, as you can fall to your death.
Also new in Call of Duty: Mobile this week is the latest Call of Duty Endowment pack. The “Freedom Pack,” as it’s called, comes with a series of red, white, and blue items, including a parachute and wingsuit. It also includes a blueprint for the M16 weapon with a red, white, and blue color scheme. As usual, 100 percent of proceeds will go to the Call of Duty Endowment, which helps military veterans find new careers in their civilian lives.
Activision also reminded players that the ongoing Radioactive Agent season in Call of Duty: Mobile is coming to an end very soon. As such, now is your last chance to work your way through the Battle Pass to unlock all the extras. You can earn XP through the game’s standard multiplayer, as well as battle royale.
Call of Duty: Mobile is one of the most popular and lucrative mobile games on Earth. Just recently, it was reported that the game made more than $220 million from its microtransactions so far in 2020.
In addition to these updates for Call of Duty: Mobile, Activision is updating Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone with a series of new modes and playlists this week–here’s a rundown of what’s new.
