Back 4 Blood follows in the footsteps of Left 4 Dead this week as Turtle Rock brings the entire undead “Ridden” experience to PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms.

Cleaning the worlds of zombies is a messy task, and it won’t be long before you and your friends can team up and do your part.

The Back 4 Blood release date has been scheduled for this week, following several successful beta tests throughout 2021.

Early access is already in full swing for those who have bought the special edition of the game, and there’s a good chance that Turtle Rock will have a big Week One update lined up.

Here’s the latest information on the Back 4 Blood release date, launch time, and arrival on Xbox Game Pass.

WHAT TIME DOES BACK 4 BLOOD RELEASE?

Developers Turtle Rock Studios has confirmed that the Back 4 Blood release date has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

And the good news is that gamers won’t be waiting long on the day to start diving into the new content.

Apart from on Steam, the Back 4 Blood release time has been scheduled for 12am local time.

For gamers in the UK, This will be the time you can start playing on Back 4 Blood on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.

Differences in PC and console launch schedules can be frustrating but usually boil down to developers waiting to have enough people around to combat any problems.

It should also be noted that no particular time has been shared for when Back 4 Blood will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Based on previous launches, there’s no reason to believe that gamers using the subscription service will have to wait longer than other fans to start playing on October 12.

Described as a first-person shooter, Back 4 Blood combines tight maps and cooperative play set in a world overrun by the undead.

Zombies are well-played out in popular culture, but Back 4 Blood has the suitable DNA to become one of the leading names in the bloated gaming genre.

The story description fills in more of the gaps, telling gamers: “You are at the centre of a war against the Ridden.

“These once-human hosts of a deadly parasite have turned into terrifying creatures bent on devouring what remains of civilisation. With humanity’s extinction on the line, it’s up to you and your friends to take the fight to the enemy, eradicate the Ridden, and reclaim the world.

“Back 4 Blood is a thrilling cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise. Choose from 8 customisable Cleaners, one of the immune survivors, and a range of lethal weapons and items. Strategise against an ever-evolving enemy bent on your total destruction.”
