Best Buy is joining the anti-Prime Day sale party in a big way by making dozens of deals from its Black Friday ad available early. Running concurrently with Amazon Prime Day on October 13 and 14, Best Buy’s early Black Friday deals will feature 4K TVs, laptops, and more. Yes, Black Friday deals are starting in October this year. 2020 has been a bizarre year, so naturally the holiday shopping season looks a tad different this year, too.
Ahead of the sale, Best Buy has teased a few of the deals that will be available, including one that is likely to sell out really fast. Best Buy will have a Samsung 70-inch 4K Smart TV for $530, down from $750. Laptops will be discounted to as low as $120, and the JBL Free True Wireless headphones will be slashed to $70, down from $150. Best Buy’s early Black Friday deals will be available both online and in stores–including contactless curbside pickup.
These deals will come with a Black Friday price guarantee. If you buy anything during the sale that goes on an even better deal before November 28, you can get the price difference reimbursed. Best Buy has also extended their holiday return period. Any products bought starting October 13 can be returned through January 16, 2021.
Later this month, Best Buy will release its full Black Friday ad and offer even more early deals.
Best Buy is just one of several retailers that are hosting sales to compete with Amazon Prime Day. Target’s Deal Days promotion runs at the same time, while Walmart’s Big Save event starts October 11 and runs through October 15.
