Call of Duty down: Warzone server queues return with Modern Warfare update

UPDATE: A new message from Activision has confirmed that developers Infinity Ward has released a new Call of Duty Modern Warfare update on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

This new patch includes fixes for the latest multiplayer map added to the game and doesn’t appear connected to COD Warzone.

“A patch has just been released across platforms that fixes an area on Khandor Hideout where there was a missing door,” the message from Activision explains.

This would explain the temporary issues with server queues and players having to wait for the new update to drop.

ORIGINAL: New Call of Duty server problems have been flagged tonight, with Warzone gamers currently stuck in queues.

Problems started being reported at around 4pm, with hundreds of online reports confirming issues.

For now, it appears that COD Warzone servers have been hit and players are now seeing server queues being employed.

It’s unclear how long this situation could last or what might have caused it. The good news is that issue reports remain low for now.

And this could mean that Modern Warfare servers go back to normal in a short space of time.

COD gamers are currently reporting queues warnings lasting up to ten minutes, the error message reads: “Servers are undergoing temporary maintenance. You have been entered into the queue and will be joined to the game shortly.
