Call Of Duty: Warzone getting Duos mode reveals leak

It’s only been a day since Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 started and, just as predicted, there’s already rumours about what’s next.

What’s also predictable about the leak is that the source is Activision, after they ‘accidentally’ revealed the fact that Duos mode is coming to Call Of Duty: Warzone soon.

Season 3 has already added Quads, i.e. four-player teams, and so adding a two-player squad mode is entirely expected. So when a teaser appeared on the official website it wasn’t much of a shocker.

For some reason though the teaser was quickly removed, but not before fans were able to take some screenshots of what was advertised as ‘New Modes’.

Yesterday’s Season 3 launch already saw a promise of more modes, beyond just Quads, so this news is hardly a surprise. Although it’s now less obvious what any of the other new modes might be.

There was a third imagine in the teaser banner, of two players in Ghillie suits, one with a sniper rifle. That may imply some sort of sniper-centric new mode, although the caption reads only ‘more [modes] throughout the season’.

When does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 end?

Developer Infinity Ward has already released a roadmap for Season 3 and while it’s a little vague, with no dates, it promises two new operators (Ronin and Iskra), multiplayer map Hardhat, Gunfight map Aisle 9, and multiplayer (i.e. not Warzone) modes Gun Game Reloaded and Reinfected Ground War.

Season 3 isn’t due to end until 2 June so there’s plenty of time for all this to happen, plus a few surprises… which will no doubt be leaked early.
