A nasty glitch involving vehicles in Call Of Duty: Warzone has prompted Infinity Ward to remove them from the game.
While Call Of Duty: Warzone’s regular updates usually bring new content and changes to the game, they unfortunately sometimes come with new bugs and glitches that then need ironing out.
Previous bugs have sometimes been used as exploits by players to help them win matches, but this latest one doesn’t benefit anyone, since it causes the whole game to crash.
The source of the problem is the game’s vehicles. By driving one of them out of bounds in a specific area, the server crashes and, everyone playing is booted back to the lobby.
While it thankfully requires a specific set of actions, and won’t just happen randomly, it does mean particularly nasty players can use it to ruin the game for everyone playing.
Fortunately, Infinity Ward has already begun to address the issue, with Warzone’s latest update removing vehicles from the game entirely.
Infinity Ward has assured fans that the removal is only temporary but didn’t provide any indicator of when we can expect them to come back.
Warzone has had vehicle-related problems in the past, with helicopters needing to be removed for a while, so hopefully the wait won’t be too long.
But given the severity of the glitch, it’s possible that Infinity Ward will need a bit longer to sort this one out.
Call Of Duty: Warzone is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
