Already having partnered with Razer and TCL, THX is continuing to solidify its place within the realm of gaming with its latest endeavor, partnering with private-label electronics brand, EVOO, for its latest line of gaming laptops.
The new EVOO Gaming laptops, powered by Intel and AMD, are available now available on Amazon and range in size from 15.6 inch to 17.3 inches.
World-renowned entertainment and audio brand, THX, brings its THX Spatial Audio technology to the laptops, which enhances sound localization while using headphones connected to the 3.5mm jack – as well as each laptops’ internal speakers – into an immersive three-dimensional audio experience. The laptops are also “Tuned by THX”, meaning they are put through rigorous testing processes to ensure that each laptop’s audio is balanced and clear, with three of the four laptops coming with RGB backlit keyboards that enhance both the audio and visual experience while gaming.
The prices and specs for the four EVOO Gaming laptops are as follows:
- EG-LP7: 15.6-inch Full HD 72% -144Hz display Tuned by THX, AMD Ryzen 7 (Renoir) processor, Nvidia 2060 RTX graphics card, 512GB SSD and 16GB dual-channel memory, featuring Tuned by THX audio and for displays, and THX Spatial Audio (US$1199.99)
- EG-LP8: 15.6-inch Full HD 72% -144Hz display Tuned by THX, Intel i7-10th Gen processor, Nvidia 2060 RTX graphics card, 512GB SSD and 16GB dual-channel memory, featuring Tuned by THX audio and for displays, and THX Spatial Audio ($1399.99)
- EG-LP9: 17.3-inch Full HD 72% -144Hz display Tuned by THX, Intel i7-10th Gen processor, Nvidia 2060 RTX graphics card, 512GB SSD and 16GB dual-channel memory, featuring Tuned by THX audio and for displays and THX Spatial Audio ($1499.99)
- EG-LP10: 15.6-inch Full HD 72% -120Hz, Intel i5-10th Gen processor, Nvidia 1650 GTX graphics card, 256GB SSD and 8GB memory, featuring Tuned by THX audio, as well as THX Spatial Audio (US$849.99)
What might be even more impressive is that THX Spatial Audio might actually “help reduce ear and brain fatigue by moving sounds perceptibly farther away from the player to encourage mental sharpness enabling longer playtime.” Basically, even in the most auditorily overwhelming gaming moments, the THX Spatial Audio will help balance it out so that you can better focus on the in-game task at hand.
“We are pleased to support EVOO Gaming’s launch of this exceptional new line of laptops featuring THX technologies,” stated Jason Fiber, THX senior vice president and general manager of mobile technologies. “[The laptops] are designed to give gamers an authentic multi-dimensional audio experience that places them at the center of the action with THX Spatial Audio technology. Our THX engineers also worked diligently to calibrate the displays and speakers, so the devices offer both quality viewing and listening experiences.”
Rodney Rad, of the EVOO product team, echoed the excitement, stating, “It is extraordinary to bring together legendary technology with such partners as THX, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, and Microsoft to provide this powerful, immersive gaming laptop on Amazon. EVOO is pleased to expand our offering of unparalleled quality at attainable price points across our product mix with these new consumer electronics devices augmented for gamers.”
If there’s one brand to offer up some of the best audio experiences in gaming, it’s THX. The company has already succeeded in its partnerships with Razer and TCL. Given the rigorous testing that takes place before a product can be associated with THX, it’s hard to imagine that the new line of EVOO Gaming laptops will fall anywhere close to flat.
