- Premier League transfer window could stay open until March 2021
A release date has yet to be confirmed for FIFA 21, but new FIFA games typically drop in September.
So, it’s likely we’ll see versions of FIFA 21 for current-get consoles arrive then followed by the next-gen editions arriving later on.
We still don’t have confirmed release dates for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, with just a release window of holiday 2020 for both consoles announced.
However, it’s predicted that the PS5 and Xbox Series X will both be launching in October or November.
So, the next-gen version of FIFA 21 could be a launch title for both consoles.
If that’s the case then this would be a bit of history repeating – both the PS4 and Xbox One had a FIFA game as a launch title.
That game was FIFA 14 and was available on day one when the PS4 and Xbox One hit shelves back in November 2013.
If you’re wondering what the next-gen version of FIFA 21 could look like then the previously revealed teaser for Madden 21 could be a good indication.
This was showcased during the Xbox Series X games event that was held in May, visit this page to view the footage.
A further look at this next-gen version of Madden 21 is expected during EA Play, while the event could also feature news on Apex Legends.
