FIFA 22 is out this October but, a few months early, the latest entry – 21 – is launching on EA Play. Arriving in May, anyone with the service, including those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, can download and play it free of charge.
Until then, if you play FIFA 21 before its launch on the service, members get access to some in-game rewards such as the Park SCC Volta apparel set and 3,500 Volta coins. But, from March 26 to May 7, the FUT Season 5 XP Boost will be available.
“EA Sports FIFA 21 will be coming in May to The Play List,” the blog post opens, “And that means EA Play members like you will be able to discover new ways to team up and express yourself on the street and in the stadium. From apparel sets to XP boosts, you’ll definitely get more game when you hit the pitch.”
This month, however, you can enjoy NHL 21, an ice hockey sports game from EA developed by the Vancouver studio. However, if Canadian ice hockey isn’t your deal, and if you’re itching for some FIFA right now and can’t wait till May but don’t want to buy it since it’s arriving oh-so soon, then FIFA 20 is currently on the service.
PC players can even get in on the fun as on March 18, EA Play finally got bundled with Xbox Game Pass for PC, bringing with it 60 new titles such as Titanfall 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. All you need to join in on the action is the EA Desktop app which links your Origin and Xbox account. It may be worth setting up now if you plan to play this hit football goliath.
