A new wave of Games with Gold free titles are about to be announced by Sony, and Xbox fans have no idea what could be included.

We know that at least two Xbox One and games and two classic games from previous consoles will be included.

We don’t have a date when the new Xbox games will be revealed, but there’s a good chance it will happen sometime over the coming days.

Sony typically announces its games on the PlayStation Blog at 4.30pm BST on the last Wednesday of the month, but Microsoft doesn’t have a designated day.

However, October’s free games with revealed on September 28, and before that, August 26.

So it seems entirely possible that we learn more about the next free Xbox Live games between September 26 and September 28.

This will be followed by the first of those chosen titles being launched on Monday, November 1.

Unlike Sony, Microsoft launches its first Games with Gold titles in a pair – One Xbox One and One Classic Xbox game – followed by the second wave on November 16.

This pattern is expected to continue throughout 2021 and 2022, or until Microsoft discontinues its subscription service.

Last year’s November lineup included a mix of different genres, including Aragami: Shadow Edition, where players could dispatch adversaries from the shadows, and Swimsanity, a game in which subscribers could test their shooter skills.

The classic lineup via Backward Compatibility included Full Spectrum Warrior from the Original Xbox, and Lego Indiana Jones from Xbox 360.

Until we find out more about the official Games with Gold November lineup, subscribers can download and play a number of games for free this weekend.

Until Monday, 8am BST, Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play these titles at no extra charge:
