Next-gen consoles looking a little bland for you? This fan-made mock-up of a Cyberpunk 2077 special edition Xbox Series S offers all the color you could ever want.
As both Sony and Microsoft’s new systems edge ever closer to release and Nintendo continues to… do its Nintendo thing, we’re starting to learn more and more about them. In the last few months, we’ve had a tantalizing glimpse of some of the games coming our way, finally gotten a darn good look at the PlayStation 5, and a whole lot more.

The thing about the white, black and black and white concepts of both systems is that they’re real blank canvases. Special editions of consoles are always a real money-spinner, both for their comparative rarity and their striking looks (as anyone who owned a Pikachu-festooned Nintendo 64 back in the day will testify). Both these systems have a lot of potential in that regard, and fans have been designing their own special edition takes on the systems since they were first shown off.
This latest effort is a unique imagining of a Cyberpunk 2077-inspired Xbox Series S. It was created by no one other than @XboxPope, a designer renowned for brilliant and creative takes on custom Xbox consoles. They’ve designed two different variations, version one (pictured on the left above) and version two, as seen here:
The difference between the two, of course, is subtle, with the color extending all the way in one and the not in the other. Speaking of which, it’s certainly the color scheme that’s the most striking element here. Bright yellow and teal aren’t always the most comfortable of bedfellows, but this is a fantastic fan effort that Cyberpunk 2077 enthusiasts the world over would probably be tempted to jump on board with.
